On June 18, 1983, Sally Ride remodeled history when she turned the primary American lady to fly into house. After her second shuttle flight, Ride decided to retire from NASA and pursue her ardour for schooling by inspiring younger individuals. As a result, she based Sally Ride Science, a company devoted to supporting students excited about STEM. Ride passed away in 2012, but her work continues to encourage younger ladies throughout the country.
